Thanks a bunch for all the inputs! I didn't know Discovery pays for the pumps.. I phoned them to confirm so yay! Even though it comes from your medical savings account.. it still helps..
Deciding between the tommee tippee electric one (since that is the bottles I have) or the medela which gets such good reviews!

Medela double electric breast pump. Most insurance companies will cover it, so make sure to contact them.

I have the Ameda purely yours pump and it was awesome, easy to clean and because the milk never goes in the tubes you are less likely to have cleaning/ mold issue like you can get with other brands.

Medela all the way. I have a Freestyle and it is incredible. Depending on your medical aid they may pay for it. Discovery definitely does

I've never tried a manual pump but I do have an electric one. I have a Medela breast pump and I love it. I used it with my daughter and now I'm using it for my son since I'm producing too much milk he can't keep up.
