Q: Doesn't look good :(

Went for first ultrasound June 25th. Should of been 7 weeks on the dot according to LMP of a 28 day cycle. Couldn't find a fetal pole but seen a yolk sac and gestational sac. I measured 6 weeks 1 day. Went for HCG testing the next day my level was 39168. Went again today almost 96 hours later It has gone up but not as much as I expected its 41476. Fears are growing for me.

I just went in for another ultrasound yesterday and Im now measuring 6 weeks 6 days but still cant find fetal pole. I have not been spotting or cramping and they wanted me to have an early dating ultrasound as I am high risk Im 43 yrs old.

I know for a fact the date that we conceived (December 7th) because hubby was working nights that week, and that was the only night we got to BD! According to the ultrasound, we conceived around December 2-3, which I know is wrong. The ultrasound can be off a few days, it all depends on if you ovulated at the exact time you thought you did, implantation, etc.
At 6w1d there wouldn't be much to see anyways. I wouldn't worry- your HCG levels are rising and that's always a good thing :) At 7w1d with this pregnancy I started spotting and my HCG was 62,000 (and I've pregnant with twins)- every pregnancy varies.
Here is a link to the HCG Beta Calculator from this site. I wouldn't worry too much as it's not good for you or the baby! Best of luck :)

I really don't think you should be worrying yourself...as long as the levels are going up you should not worry. If they were decreasing then I would say...start to worry. Early ultrasounds can be tricky...is there a particular reason why you had one so early? Maybe spotting or anything that might have alarmed your doctor?

I think the doc will do another beta HCG test.

RELAX :) and don't stress!

Sometimes early ultrasounds are a few days off based on implantation and exact conception date. I think your hcg is good and as you get further, doubling times are much longer. I think since it's still going up, that looks like a positive thing. Are they going to have you come in for another ultrasound when you're further along? I wish you the best!!!!!
