Q: Has anyone had a 3D or 4D ultrasound early to find out baby's sex?

My husband and I were reading about these optional services and there seemed to be a lot of mixed opinions on whether this was worth the money based on the accuracy. It seems some were right on and others were told one thing only to find out at their 20 week scan the opposite. Would love to hear about any of your experiences! Thanks!

Def. worth it!!! We went at 15 weeks and found out we were having a boy! It was reconfirmed today at my 20 week scan. It only cost us $50 and we got a cd of a ton of pictures too!

With my daughter I found out at 16 weeks with a paid 3d ultrasound. With this little bubs I go in Saturday to find out ( I will be 17 weeks). I find it difficult to wait until 20+ weeks, so I went for it and it was a truly amazing experience!

I did at 18.4 with my son and it was obvious that he was a boy!

We had one done at 15 and a bit weeks. It was so obvious it was a boy and it was confirmed at our 20 week scan we got much better pics of him at the. 3d gender scan than we did at our 20 week scan (also done 3d)

I had an ultrasound at 14 weeks with my last and they said it was a girl and she was born early at 21 weeks and was confirmed a girl.

Hey I found out I was having a boy at 17 weeks with a 3D/4D ultrasound. It truly was an amazing experience too as I got to see my boys face and his hands and feet and at 19 weeks I had the normal ultrasound and it was confirmed again it was a boy. For me it costed $110 and it was worth every bit of it.
