Q: Lines getting lighter on hpt frer but clearblue advanced still positive

Hi,
My last period was well over two months ago, then around the 19th of this month i had maybe a smudge of pink on TP for three days. i thought my period was finally really to show up so I started taking vitex which i ususally have to use when my cycles get out of whack. Well it appears that instead of bringing on my period, it made me ovulate and I got pregnant. On the 28th of july is the only day my husband and were together so i know conception had to happen on or after the 28th. I started getting cramps and a short stabby pain around the 5th of july so i took a test three days later and it was positive. That means that when i tested positive this past monday, i could have been at the latest 8dpo. The problem is that now the lines are not getting darker, if not lighter. Using fmu and same brand test.since i didnt have my period last month im wondering if my old lining is causing issues. Anyone had faint lines during week 3 that stayed faint and went onto have normal pregnancies?
