I started bleeding when I was one day short of 6 weeks that . was 07/07/14. I went to ER my HCG was at 641 & te ER Dr. said I wasn't six weeks yet they saw the sack but no fetal pole com back in 48hrs get levels checked. So I did it was a 421. Dr. Said ill miscarry. Came back in 48hrs it was a 891 & no baby on sonogram still bleeding. 2Days later passed large clot and bleed heavy show ER DR. my clot said it was just a blood clot my cervix is closed so no miscarriage my levels where 526. Came back 2 days later burning on right ovary no baby and my HCG was a 426. They told me they believe it was a self absorbing ectopic but they cant explain the up and down on my levels I'm now waiting another 48 hours to see if levels continue to fall and see if I need to do a tubal preg shot and get the camera do the surgery to look at my tubes. My last period was 05/26/14 I should be like 7 weeks or so ..... anyone else go through something similar?

I have never personally experienced this, but it sounds like you possibly could have had a vanishing twin that miscarried. Sometimes, it causes the levels to drop. It sounds like it could have been a lab error as well. Hope everything works out for you. I would be very anxious too.

I haven't gone through this, but if you can, I'd suggest going to an OB and not the ER since an OB will have more knowledge and experience with this. Hopefully they can figure out what is going on!! Wishing you lots of luck!!
