Q: Hand foot and mouth?

My son has hand foot and mouth, it extremely contagious even before symptoms appear. I am pretty much bound to get it. Has anyone heard about this causing problems with pregnancy? I called my ob but am waiting on a call back.

Thank you!Thats pretty much all they said but the also said there is a low risk for the baby..hopefully I wont get it..odds are not in my favor though!

I did a bit of reading on it as my SIL had it a month or so back.. Essentially you should do everything to avoid getting it as there can sometimes be harm to the baby. I hope your ob has more info for you xx
