Q: 36 wks, cramped/sore fingers= pregnancy symptom?

For about a week, my left hand and fingers have felt all cramped up and sore like arthritis or something. Could this be related to pregnancy? I've never had this before pregnancy

I'm 27 weeks and 1 day and I've experienced this same thing starting 2-3 weeks ago. However, the severity of it comes and goes. My doctor says there is nothing to worry about and according to her seems to be quite common. It seems like there is less pain or aggravation if I limit the salt/sodium intake. I try to drink plenty of water and keep my hands elevated above heart when sitting or sleeping. - it is somewhat aggravating at times though
