Q: 13 weeks tilted uterus still

Hi I'm 13+4 weeks pregnant and had a scan at 13+2 weeks which showed a healthy baby but that my uterus Is tilted and they had to press hard to see (considering I'm very slim). Everything I've read says the uterus should have righted itself around 12 weeks, why hasn't it. I get cramps and the baby looked squished, she couldn't get the nt measurement as it was squished. I've had a previous missed misscarriage and a subcholorinic haemorrhage that has finally absorbed this pregnancy and am paranoid!

hi I also have a tiled uterus I have had 3 kids and have had no problems! it just makes getting a pap a little awkward because you have to angle yourself differently but other than that its fine!

Thanks mmkohl! That's really reassuring, I thought they meant as the uterus gets bigger with baby it has no choice but to flip forward but maybe it just gets bigger and is easier to see. I can find a heartbeat on the doppler although sometimes it's a bit faint.

Mine is tilted as well. I've never heard of it straightening out or anything like that. This is my second pregnancy and it just seems like it is easier for them to do what they need to do when the baby is bigger, because the baby is bigger. I also have a hard to get to cervix which made it uncomfortable when they needed to check me at the end. I wouldn't worry about your uterus being tilted. As baby grows it won't be a problem any more.
