Q: Need some guidance please :( baby 6months old

Hey ladies,

Hope everyone is keeping well. I seriously need some advice, my son is 6months, two weeks ago I was having a loss of dark clots lasted nearly a week, was told to do preg test by doc but tbh I'm too scared (I couldn't have another child right now). Now my problem is, in feeling bubbles popping in my belly, anyone know wth that could be?

Reason I don't want another child right now is cos my son is taking this teething really badly I'm hardly sleeping n due back to work in nov.

Advice would be wonderful, oh meant to say I've been very emosh lately too

Xx

Have you taken a test yet? I had a few days of some clots with this baby around 8 weeks and everything is okay with the baby. Don't know what it was though. Have you been having normal af's before the clots? My first kids are 1 year and 5 days apart. I use Hylands teething tablets for my baby. I get them at Dollar General or Wal-Mart. Hope you figure out what's going on with you :0)

I was using this website as I've just had a baby and there are topics for postpartum. I was wondering did anyone who's had a baby n still using this site a few months after maybe have something similar happen.

There are several people still using this site for advice and info after having their baby I don't see this question being a topic on trying to conceive.

You also might want to post on Countdown to Pregnancy instead of this website, you'll probably find more advice as those women are TTC and not already pregnant. Depression is no laughing matter, you should really get some help as soon as possible. I've suffered for years and I got some help and I've never felt better. There's no reason to suffer when there are medications out there that can help you.

Of course not harm done you're having a bad time, I have learnt not to rush my responses and to proof read before posting.
It's only natural to be worried and with everyone writing off your feelings as 'the baby blues' is not helping.
Truly Drs can help so much although finding the right one to help is sometimes difficult but worth it.
On the other side if you are pregnant again is going to be tough getting used to the idea and perhaps some tough decisions to make. My aunt had her daughter under 11 months after the birth of her son, it was a challenge but even as a single mum she juggled them well.
Only you can make a choice what to do if you are but the first step is to take a deep breath and pee on that stick.
I really hope it works out.
If you need to vent, chat or get things off your chest you are more than welcome to pm me.
I promise I'll proof read all my replies x x x

Lou get some help for that post partum depression! It's NOT silly, it's not dumb, it's not made up. As someone who REALLY struggled with it on my own for a couple months (while pregnant with second child)..I can tell you that it's much much better with help. I didn't even realize how much it had been affecting me and my family until I was put on a low dose medication for it. I'm sorry your family hasn't been all that supportive or understanding of it, but your doctor will be. Best wishes!

Sianny I would like to apologise for my response, just getting it extremely hard at the min. When I was pregnant with my son I rem losing dark clots like old blood then found out I was pregnant. I had an awful pregnancy n was put on bed rest from 7 months. My doc thought it was maybe a miscarriage but I only asked her briefly as it was an apt for my son.

I posted this last night after telling my partner I was worried incase I was, I was on antibiotics for 3weeks in July only realising now sometimes the pill doesn't work with that. I know I should do test but so scared, mentally I'm not ready for another baby I've been battling postnal depression from 2 months postpartum. Every time I spoke to a friend or family member no one understood said I was being silly and just to get out of house.

I'm very sorry I took your response the wrong way, really hope I haven't annoyed you. Thank you so much for responding x

I'm in agreement with Sianny,
Really there's not much reason to think you would be pregnant from passing clots, but if that's the route you and your doctor have in mind, then you should test. That's going to be the only way to know for sure for now unless you go in and get an ultrasound. So, if you've been using protection, I really wouldn't worry about it :) Good luck

Honestly I'm sorry you thought that but I wasn't trying to belittle your situation. I was trying to keep my reply simple and obviously it didnt read well.
You asked for 'advice' and offered some but as I wasn't sure of your full information so I apologise for upsetting you.
I'm not sure why you think a pregnant woman would wish to upset someone they have never met and is clearly worried.
I really am sorry and hope that you get your answers soon.

Honestly I was looking a helpful pleasant response. You just assume I don't use protection? I have used protection all my life, my last pregnancy was planned.

I didn't have a heavy bleed btw it was just clots! Excuse me for freaking out over it and looking to know if anyone here had same thing happen.

Please refrain from posting if you are not in a helpful mind frame I don't need you being condescending
