Q: Differences between your emergency, or unplanned C Sections, and planned ones...Just curious

I had a C section with my son just under a year ago. I was induced at 41.5 weeks by breaking my water, and then was on pitocin for nearly 10 hours. After all that I STILL did not dilate past a 3, so we had a C Section. I LOVED IT. I healed very well, and had no bad experiences with it. So for this second child I opted to have another instead of trying to induce again, since at 38 weeks my cervix still shows no signs of softening, dilating, or anything. For those of you who have had multiple C Sections, what differences were there between them? Hospital stay times any shorter, pain differences, bonding experiences with baby...anything. Thanks ladies :)

I had an emergency csection with #1 and then a planned csection with my second 15 months after the first. The first was scary because it happened so fast and I was only 34 weeks along. The second was at 39.5 weeks and it was awesome. No pain, I healed better the second time and little one and I went home 2 days after. I healed in about a week. Right after she was born, they cleaned her, then put her on my chest, where she stayed until they sewed me up and took me to recovery. If we have any more, I will definitely have another csection.
