Q: Sleeping positions

My baba seems to like the left side. Listen with the doppler now and then and always find him/her that side.

Is it safe to sleep on the left? My right gets tired and I can't really sleep facing upwards.

You can sleep any way that is comfortable. Even on your back. I got worried because I always end up rolling onto my back in the middle of the night and lord only knows how long I'm sleeping there before I wake up lol. Everyone I've spoken to at my doc's office has said that if you are sleeping in a way that is not okay for baby your body will know and you will have discomfort.

Check it out on the internet if you want to, but you're supposed to sleep on your left side, preferably. So, yes! Just not on your back...(man I miss that:(!)

My doctors go to saying is that if it's comfortable for you, it's OK for the baby. Our bodies will let us know if we need to move or something needs to shift. Sleep however you can :)

Thanks Shelby2-20-15. I seem to enjoy sleeping on my left side more now.

Actually my doctor prefers that I try to sleep on my left side, its best for blood flow to the baby; from my understanding. So I would say yes it is absolutely safe for you to sleep on your left side. :) hope this helps!
