Q: when do i go to triage?

Was in triage for hours Thursday I'm dialated to 5 and 60% efaced they were trying to decide to admit me or not finally they decided to send me home cause though I'm in "active labor " with contractions every 2-4 min I'm not changing fast enough for admittance. She said if I was 39w (which I am today but wasn't then) they could enduce me to encourage her to come since she is already half way there but i had tobhave been 39w at that time..I am set to be enduced on wed but they think she will come before then. My question is when do I need to go back to triage. I feel the same I did then but with more back pain. I never felt contractions with my daughter when I had her and I'm really just achy and cramping so I'm not looking to have bad ones with arie or anything worse then iv already had especially since I'm already at 5. I'm going to call the doc but was curious what yall think. Please try not to repeat whoever posted before you if you've seen they have already said the same

Well I hope you're in the hospital right now you poor thing, but if not it'll be soon. I don't believe I've ever heard of a woman being sent home with a dilation of 5cm. Maybe since your water isn't broke(right?) they were thinking they'd give the baby a few more days in there to get nice and chubby and healthy, which is never a bad thing. (Unless you're two weeks late and it's a 12 pounder!(dear God, can you imagine?!?!) If you're still home, try to enjoy your next few days of still feeling that baby inside you, and the peace and quiet. I always miss the little fella moving around after I've given birth. Nice to hold that baby but feel kinda empty inside at the same time...enjoy Mama.

I would go in better to be safe than sorry all they can do is send u home again. My friend ran out of time and she had her son at home on the bathroom floor delivered by her hubby. Was all good. But if I was you I would go in. GL keep us posted.
