Thanks ladies. I am still losing fairly big pieces but achey back is gone. Braxton Hicks seem to be a little more achey but all together I am good! Will talk to my OB at my Monday appointment

It's also possible your "wet discharge" may be an amniotic fluid leak, so please go see or call somebody! I think I'm more freaked out than you are, lol!

Despite other people's stories, you need to call your doctor/midwife. Especially if you're high risk for pre-term labor. Losing your mucus plug and lower backache are both "early labor" signs(early labor can last for weeks). It's still nothing to ignore. It's pretty early for baby to make an appearance. Please call someone and at least give a head's up. Hope everything goes okay!

I would call just to be safe, but I lost two good sized chunks (first was about the size of a quarter but not flat lol it was like slightly smaller than a golf ball) and second time was about the diameter of a nickel. Same thing happened to me where I could feel it coming out (one of the grossest feelings ever lol!) and had light spotting and cramping. They told me as long as my water doesn't break and I'm not having contractions for longer than an hour that I shouldn't bother going in. First time it happened I was only 28 or 29 weeks so I was terrified!

Thanks ladies. No contractions yet just the backache. I am just worried because I am a moderate risk to go in preterm labor. They stopped my labor several times with my second, as she wanted out early too! I am laying back with my feet up now, will keep you all posted!

It's very common to lose the plus around this stage and not start labor for many weeks to come. However it's also common for the mucus plug to regenerate itself. But if your having any weird signs that point to labor I would definitely seek medical assistance ASAP. In the mean time try and relax as much as you can and drink plenty of water to keep you hydrated. Hope this helps:)

I'd call your OB and let them instruct you!! Are you having any other issues like contractions fro the back that radiate to the front, other than the low back ache? I'd seriously call your doc, and you should time the on/off backache, if there's a rhythm to them...that could be contractions - as not all are in the front!
