Q: ClearBlue Digi with Weeks Estimator

Hi ladies! I was hoping someone out there would have some experience with that ClearBlue digi test with the weeks estimator. I finally got my digi bfp last Thursday and it was "1-2" which was perfect. Tested yesterday (Sunday) still "1-2" and tested this morning and still "1-2." I loathe this test right now. I thought by today (according to everything I've read online) that I should've popped over to "2-3." Had my first round of blood work done Friday, but my dr is taking her time to call me with results... super frustrating! Anyone have experience with this?

A woman I spoke to when I was on the Countdown to Pregnancy website said that she called Clearblue, and they told her the estimator detected approximate levels based off of these numbers: 1-2 wks your hcg level is between 1-150, 2-3 wks is 151-2000, and 3+ wks is over 2000. Those levels are very approximate, however. I didn't get my 2-3 wks until 17dpo, and I didn't get my 3+ wks until 25dpo. However when I went to the doctor's office at 24dpo, I later found out that my hcg level was 3500 at 24dpo. Long story short, it's an estimator, not even close to exact science. But I remember in the beginning of my pregnancy before I went to the doctor how important those tests were to me, because they were the closest thing I had to an hcg level! If nothing else, they're "fun," but try to space them out if you can because as you know, they are mighty pricey! Congratulations!

Thanks! I was proud of myself that I did not test this morning! I look forward to hearing from the nurse today and I'm dying to know what my progesterone number is!

The weeks indicator is inaccurate. Don't worry about it not changing as the blood work will tell you for sure. It took a few days for my clinic to call about the blood work results too. As long as the test says positive, that's what matters. The wait though is hard. Just don't go by the indicator. Congrats! I know how hard it is to not fuss over these things after a previous loss. You aren't alone :)

Thanks! I'm hoping the test is just terrible ;) or I picked it up super early and I'm just still getting to reach the "2-3" I promised myself not to spend any more money on these tests because they just make me stressed out. It's hard not worrying after MC's!

I've not had it myself but if you picked up the hormone early with the test and hcg doubles every 48 to 72 hrs you may have only gone from 1 week to 2 week in the last few days, so you're still in the 1-2 week bracket, another 72hrs might show 2-3 but everything can throw that out by another 24hrs such as not having such high concentrated urine if you drank more water the day before water or didn't hold for as long.
Basically the tests aren't good for saying much other than to show you are pregnant.
That aside CONGRATULATIONS!!!. X x
I hope everything goes smoothly for you x x
