Q: When am I going to start to feel human again?

This is my 6th preg. I have one child. Never had sickness ever. I'm 13w5d but baby measuring 5 days ahead. Specialist not changing dye date as I have big babies and we know when I conceived as I was monitored.
I am still vomiting not often but OMG at my daughters school yesterday at pick up. Hardly eating only enough for the baby and only cold foods. Feeling still blah 80% of the time. So lucky I'm finished work. I'm resting a lot and sleeping average.
Just want to have some energy, a sex drive and to want food and feel better. I thought at 14+ I would feel better.
When did you feel better?

I had hyper emesis with my son, morning sickness all day every day for 9 months. I pray you do NOT have that and will start feeling better soon.

Yeah, sorry if it sounded bad, but I'm just being honest :). I don't think it's the norm, though. I'm sure you'll feel better soon. Before I got pregnant, I honestly thought it would be easy because I was never sick with my other two...I felt great the whole time with each of them. This little one just didn't make anything easy...was hard to conceive (multiple mc's, and eventually had to use injectables and lovenox), more difficult pregnancy than my other two ( which I'm sure age played a role in), and difficult labor and delivery. Totally worth every struggle, though, of course. And I kind of count myself lucky that I only FELT sick all the time....I never actually vomited.

With my first two (who are 18 and 20), I never had morning sickness, or any symptoms at all. With my son, I was sick from about 6 weeks, until I had him. I never actually threw up, but I felt like I was going to all the time. I kept waiting for that second trimester, thinking I'd get the pregnancy glow and feel great, but it never happened. Then by the end of the pregnancy, I was miserable. I couldn't sleep, barely could walk, felt nauseous and had terrible swelling. Hopefully you start feeling better soon.

20 weeks for me or just after but I was taking anti sickness from about 7 weeks.
I was very aware however that the pills were just keeping the sickness at bay for instance if didn't take them or ate/drank before they worked in the morning I would find my self sick as a dog.
It was only after the 20wk mark that I managed a day without them.
Feel better soon hunni x
