Q: 3 weeks pregnant and cramping. Normal uterus stretching?

3weeks (13dpo) pregnant with #2... Faint BFP 8dpo, darker 9dpo. No implantation bleeding this time around but mild to period like cramps off and on last few days. Has anyone else felt like this? Thinking its just the uterus getting prepped for the new tenant ;) but I'm a bit of a worrier=\

Thanks Ladies and congrats to you all!!â?¡â?¡

Hi there ! We are about the same along in our pregnancy! Congratulations! The cramps seem to have subsided now.. AF would have been due today and thankfully that biotch didn't show =D. As all the lovely ladies below said, I think its pretty normal and due to hormone as and increased blood flow. Maybe also the embryo burrowing into the uterus lining?? Great to know its very common and normal! Happy and healthy pregnancy to you!

Thank you all so very much for all your wisdom. Great to know its common and normal. Thinking it could be a touch of dehydration... need to step up my water drinking. No other issues and thankfully no bleeding. Will relax and know all is well =) Thanks ladies!

Just wanted to add that most of the cramping I had was in the first 2 weeks of finding out with this one, I would just say they weren't as painful as my first.

With my first I had crazy cramps before I had tested. That's actually why I tested. When I am about to get af, I get cramps the day of and never before. It had just tipped me off. Like Sianny mentioned too, this is my second and I have barely had cramps at all. As long as it's no worse than menstrual cramps I would say it's normal. Congratulations!

Congratulations!
Don't worry the cramps are super common but they'll always say as long as they don't get worse or you bleed heavily.
Technically you are on the right track with your uterus gearing up for the next 8 months but is not actually stretching just yet although I know for a fact it feels just like that. The discomfort is caused by hormones, extra blood flow and a combination of other little changes down there that all amount to the discomfort.
I had it before I even had my bfp with my first and they came and went through the next few weeks, my second and third were less frequent but i think that's just my body.

Early stages of pregnancy are exactly feeling like AF is coming. So can be completely normal. It is going to be a waiting game at this early stage until you at least miss your period. Best of luck but yes that feeling you are having I would say loads of us have felt that same feeling. Take Care try and relax and hopefully AF will pass you bye and you can start feeling more confident. :-)
