Q: 6 week concern with cramping...

At abt 1 am I began to bleed/spot what seemed to be a little heavy ( 1st pregnancy so I can't tell the diff yet!) n I put on a liner just in case cuz of course my mind starts thinking the worst! Even made dh worried.. Slept for abt 3 hrs n there is nothing on the liner only if I wipe (sorry if tmi). Is there cause for major alarm??? I have little to no cramping but the bleeding worries me n I have no exp. I'm supposed to go for my first u/s after next week when I'm 7 weeks, Dr has only drawn blood so far so we haven't gotten that back yet (just had 1st appt yesterday).

any advice would be welcomed as we haven't told fam yet so I can't ask anyone for help..

Good news: it stopped! It lasted abt 12 hrs. I'm still gonna tell the Dr but I'm beyond relieved it stopped! Thanks for the help!

Hi Hun I would get two more blood draws done 48 hrs apart to see if numbers are increasing. It may be nothing but it can be a common time for early miscarrages. I never had any cramping with any of my 4 miscarrages so when people say bleeding is normal and I agree very small spotting can be not unusual I would still get yourself checked out for your own peace of mind. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy and the best of luck.

Spotting is normal during early pregnancy which is what it sounds like your having. If your not cramping or in pains then you should be fine. But if anything call your doctor to be positive.
