Q: Falling during pregnancy

I am currently 18 weeks pregnant and when I got off the bus and started walking on the side walk I took a pretty bad tumble I scraped my knees, hands, and even my chin but those parts of my body took most if not all of the fall I don't think I hit my tummy and if I did it wasn't very hard.. This happen to anyone else during pregnancy? Not really sure what I should do as I feel fine right now and unfortuntly it's Sunday so I can't call my doctor..

I fell over the top step when pregnant with my son while going up and landed pretty much flat on my front on the floor. I called the drs but like you I couldn't feel anything wrong. I was at work and could feel the baby so I was about 26 weeks if my memory serves me right.
The Dr said the baby was pretty much well protected by the cushion of amniotic fluid and that if there were no signs of impact on my stomach and I wasn't bleeding, cramping or leaking fluid then it would be fine.
Are you feeling baby move yet? If so that's a good indication on everything being okay.
Double check your bump for bruising and listen to your body for signs of issues but just check in with your dr tomorrow ir head of to the ER if you have the slightest concern to help you relax.
