Q: Weird feeling when pushing down on stomach?!?

I had my first scan last week. At some point, when the tech was rubbing her probe on the side of my belly, I felt something shift inside. It definitely felt like the baby had made a big movement in there, but as the tech confirmed, baby had not moved at all. This morning while in yoga class, lying on my back, I experimented a bit and pushed on the sides of my stomach (both left and right) three times, and each time, I got that same shifting feeling. It really feels like it's the baby, but clearly it's not. I'm seeing my doctor in three weeks and will talk to her about it then, but till then, just curious to see if it's happened to anyone? I'm 13 weeks along.

I'd never say it can't be baby because that depends on so much at this stage based on your size and shape, muscle control and so forth, baby is 6cm in length and your grapefruit sized uterus is about right down the very bottom, about 4cm above your bits.
Only you will know if what you are feeling is baby which us normally bubbly fluttering feeling at firsts, it's uncommon but not unheard of.
I'd say it was either ligament or intestine but I'm no dr lol.

I think you could possibly be feeling the baby move.
