I experienced between weeks 3.5-6. Just like mnor0406, this is my first baby too (to live anyway). I was super worried, but when I saw my baby via ultra sound @ 7.5 weeks along, baby was great. Like other gals have mentioned, I believe it was just due to my uterus growing. I am a chronic early miscarriage survivor, so it TERRIFIED me! But, my ultra sound rested my fears :-) I bet you and baby are fine. Hope you are able to relax and enjoy your pregnancy :-)

I had this too around 8 weeks. It was sharp and hurt like heck so I called my doctors office. My nurse told me it's probably just growing pains from your uterus stretching or could also be round ligament pain but most women don't get that until the 2nd trimester. She also said since this is my first I would likely feel lots of little growing pains since my uterus has never had to stretch this big before.

It's probably what they call "round ligament pain." It's the ligaments below your uterus stretching to accommodate your growing parts, and you'll notice that it continues for much of your pregnancy. Congratulations!
