My last ultrasound was 2 days before I was induced with my first child. It primarily depends (around here) on your insurance company, you can always pay out of pocket to get more if that is what you want. Mine only covered 3 ultrasounds the whole pregnancy so I waited longer to get my last to see how big the baby is to be induced. (since it was at Christmas time and my doc would have been out of town I got induced.) I was at 40wks.

My doc said I would have a final one at 36 weeks to check baby's position. Low risk. Currently 27W 5D.

20 weeks was my last. The only reason they might do another one is to see if baby is still breech. I'm 34 weeks now so if they can't tell if he has flipped at 36 weeks they will do another one to check his position.

If your low risk they won't do another one. Sometimes they may do one around 30+ to check size/measurements or if any issues.
