We are pretty much the same, twins and almost 9 weeks, I've been having the same pain and I've been to 2 prenatal massages in the past week and it has helped tremendously! They massage those muscles in particular for it , maybe give that a try?

Hello and congratulations, that's very exciting about twins! I'm 28w4d right now and my back feels great surprisingly, but as soon as I hit my 2nd trimester I went through some really severe back pain that I ended up having to change my work schedule because of. I think it was probably because of the initial stretching of all the ligaments and muscles and everything else. You're stretching twice as fast as most people so it could have started earlier with you! As long as you're not bleeding I'm sure everything is fine:)
