Q: 8 Weeks & need more advice

Had spotting after my husband and I had sex, & went to the E.R. They did a pelvix exam and said that my uteris looked good and closed and that the opening looked irriated & he didnt think the bleeding was coming from my uterus but from the irriation.. My bloodwork came back and they said my level was so high that they had to dalute it to test it.. I got to go back Thursday for bloodwork again to compare to todays.. & I get to get into my gyno Monday instead of waiting till the 15! So can anybody tell me if this is good or bad? I thought it was good until I read that high levels could me Molar pregnancy.... ??

High levels CAN be molar pregnancy, but that is pretty rare -- it could be twins, or you could be farther along than you thought. Good luck at your appointment, let us know how everything goes!

An ultrasound should be able to tell you if it is a molar pregnancy. I was worried about that too, and they were able to tell me as early as 6 weeks that it wasn't. I had spotting this pregnancy and was scared to death too, but everything is fine. I would call in and see if they will give you an ultrasound to pinpoint the bleeding and ease your mind. I know you are worried, but nothing you mentioned seems alarming to me. Hang in there...xo
