Q: Do baby carriers expire?

I'm talking about those strap on carriers that you wear. I have a few and one seems to have a date on the tag. Do they expire? I know car seats expire, but never heard about carriers. Thank you!

ive never heard of them expiring before. and i cant find anything online that suggests they would. my guess is maybe its a carrier that doesnt suggest use after a certain year? i would imagine being that they're fabric maybe they wear down after time and arent safe? totally shooting in the dark here. or it could just be a date of manufacture. hard to say i guess.

Someone already answered you but I'll just add to that. They usually have the manafatory date on the tag attached to the car seat and they expire usually at the 10 year mark.
