Q: Moms that are around 30 weeks, whats your babies heart rates?

I always heard that girls heart rates were typically higher than boys and that in the third trimester normal range is anywhere from 120-160. my doctor today told me hers was 123. even tho its within range isnt it still kind of low? I'm so worried even tho she didn't show any concern. Or maybe she didn't wanna scare me. Her heart rate has always been in the 140s to 150s. i know its normal to slow down further along... but 123?

Girls being faster than boys is an old wives tale, not true (and has been tested). I wouldn't worry either. My babe (sex unknown) started out around 155 and now at 30 wks its about 135. I does change if Bub is moving or napping. Having a chill baby could be totally awesome, ponder on that. :)

She didn't show concern because it's normal! Don't worry:) I know that's a silly thing to say, I've been checking my toilet paper every time I use the bathroom for 8 months, lol! But it's true, you've just got a nice calm baby. Maybe they were sleeping...? At 28 wks my baby's hb was 132 and now at almost 34 wks it's still 132. I could actually tell it was a little slower when I was first listening and sitting down but I had to stand up and get my timer, and I could hear it increase. So I think if I would have stayed at rest baby's hb would have been in the 120s just now too. (I checked with my doppler just so I could answer your question accurately:) I would say everything is fine Mama!
