I have been trying to avoid them as long as possible in an effort to save money and just be able to wear some summery dresses (it's already really hot here and pants are out of the question). So I bought a few of those Bella bands to keep my pants and skirts on without buttoning them. They worked well for a few months but I am starting to reach the point where I might need to go shopping for real maternity clothes.

I bought maternity clothes at 8 weeks! I didnt gain weight, I actually lost! But she pushed out really low! It hurt when I had my pants buttoned. I thought I was crazy, but the lady at the store said it was really common.

at 12 weeks i could no longer squeeze into work clothes and suffer being uncomfortable so i had to succumb to maternity trousers and tops (best decision ever). I wish i had got them sooner though as i had mega bloating from 5 weeks so probably could have easily fitted into maternity clothing then! If i was you I would get then asap as theres nothing worse than uncomfortable clothing !
