Q: Fever in early pregnancy

I have been feeling a cold coming on and now i have a slight fever. Nothing much, 100.0. I am 8 weeks along and just wonder if i should be concerned.

I hope you're feeling better. I wouldn't worry unless your temperature continues to rise.

Usually a low grade fever, like the one you have, is no cause for alarm. I would monitor it though and watch for other symptoms. If the fever gets over 100 and you can't get it down with Tylenol or a cool bath call your Dr. I had a temp of 102 with baby #1 and turned out I had pneumonia. I was only 6 weeks :-(. Hope you feel better really soon!
