I'm 26 weeks and 4 days so almost 27 week and lately been more pressure lower making me have to pee frequently and just today baby girl has been moving lots but her movements have all been low like it feels as if she's kicking/punching me in the cervix and now just recently iv been having low back pain and some pain in my hips... is it possible baby is starting to drop or something?

I'm 27 weeks today and baby boy has been head down and low in my pelvis from the beginning. I always feel him punching me down in my hips and cervix and he kicks me up in my ribs and abdomen. IMO baby is probably just low and hasn't actually "dropped" and enguaged like she will for actual delivery.

I'll be 27 weeks Monday, I have the same pressure. Actually, in the very beginning baby girl was so low I had to break out my maternity pants by week 7. She moved up a bit for just over a month and now she's back to putting all kinds of pressure so low it sometimes stops me in my tracks. My dr said not to worry, baby is just growing. Unless of course the pain becomes severe. I find that if I do mild pre natal yoga it really helps keep her a little higher in the uterus.

I don't think it necessarily means the baby is dropping. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I remember feeling that pressure, but I didn't drop until much later. Baby's just getting bigger.
