Q: Pink Spotting for 4 Days Now, SO CONFUSED AND WORRIED!

At 5wks 5 days I woke up, used the bathroom, and when I wiped there was pink. I wasn't too freaked b/c with my 1st I did the same thing at exactly the same time. There was no other pink through out the day. The next day, at 5wks 6 days, I woke up and the same thing happened again, only I went to the bathroom again, and I still saw pink. I called the doc who wanted me to come in for an u/s. I went in and all looked well, she was able to date my pregnancy, said the placenta looked good, and we saw a faint HB of 108, which she said was normal b/c she thinks the heart just started beating, and thinks the bleeding was from the embryo implanting deeper. However, two days later I AM STILL SEEING PINK WHEN I WIPE. I've had some mild cramping, but nothing terrible. I am also been taking progesterone inserts at night using an applicator AND inserting yeast infection cream using an applicator. I am wondering if I am irritating my cervix or what?! ADVICE PLEASE! Will be calling doc on Mon

I'm also on progesterone suppositories and have had bleeding twice during my pregnancy so far. I have read that this can happen. My dh even read of a few occurrences where women bled the entire time they are on progesterone suppositories. It can also happen when the placenta attaches. Fingers crossed for you!

Is it possible for you to use a topical cream instead of inserting the yeast infection cream? I've read that's the best thing to do. It's impossible to tell a pregnant woman to not be nervous about spotting so I won't even try, but there are some women who spot in early pregnancy and throughout and have healthy full term babies. And like you said, it's happened to you before, so to me that's a comforting sign. If the worst is gonna happen, there's honestly nothing you can do about it; things will take their own course. Frustratingly, all you can do right now is wait and pray for a good outcome and for peace. I do hope the very best for you:)
