Q: Uterus large for gestational age?

My doctor felt my belly and said my uterus felt like I was in week 12-14, so she sent me for a dating ultrasound. The technician stated I was 7w3d along with only one baby. This is my first pregnancy. Why is my uterus so big this early?

this happened me on my last pregnancy and got a lovely surprise at my 15 week scan I was pregnant on twins..it was missed on my first scan at 9 weeks.
