Q: Is this acid reflux I'm experiencing?

I'm 6 wks 5 days. For the past almost week I have been experiencing the typical nausea that comes with ms. However, there is something new this time around (2nd pregnancy). For the past 3 nights I have had the worst nausea when I lay down. It lasts all night long and is so bad I have placed a trash can by the bed. It will ease off enough for me to doze off but the instant I move, even the slightest inch, it's back and horrible. I can not sleep on my back at all (which is fine because I'm not really a back sleeper) because that's when it's at its worse. I have even broken out in a cold sweat a few times during the night and I feel weak upon waking. i slept nearly sitting up last night and it helped a bit because I didn't feel sick until 2am. Anyone else familiar with this.

I had nausea worse @ night. I had been on a restrictive diet from things like dairy, but I found that eating Greek yogurt with the fruit in the side @ bedtime gets rid of my overnight nausea. Greek yogurt has higher protein than regular yogurt, & the fruit gives me enough carbs to last until morning.

I had terrible evening nausea this pregnancy especially if I tried to go to sleep hungry and I found that eating a snack before bed helped. My faves were cereal and milk and bread with strawberry jam. Something about a heavier snack with carbs helped settle my stomach so I could go to sleep.

I don't think it's acid reflux because that is how I was during my first trimester, maybe my symptoms were worse than yours. Hope you'll fell better soon. I tried drinking mineral water with lemon and sleeping with 2 pillows.
