When I lost my whole mucus plug, I went into labor 3 hours later. In labor totally around 13 hours before baby was born. With this current pregnancy I have been having losing pieces of my mucus plug for 3 weeks now. I'm just a few days from 38 weeks. Hope you have a good delivery :0)

8 years ago when I had my son I had a membrane sweep. My mucus plug came away about 5 hours later and I gave birth 10 hours after that. I guess every one is different.
Good luck hun x

I had a membrane sweep done at 38+4 and started losing mucous that day and for about 4-5 days afterwards, and then I had another sweep done at 39+4 and lost more blood than mucous and then a tiny bit of mucous the next day, I went into labor 4 days later at 40+1 and I didn't lose any blood or mucous while in labor so it all had come out during those 2 weeks before labor started. :)

I lost my mucus plug on a Friday afternoon around 3pm. I can't recall the exact time but I know I was in labour that night and all day Saturday and Sunday. Arrived at the hospital Monday morning at 8am and I was 6cm by then! Sounds like you will be having your baby sooner than later! Congrats! :)
