Q: Dog issues

My dog has been acting weird the further I get along in my pregnancy. She now runs away from us and whimpers and whines like she is in pain, when we just walk thru the house. She has also started peeing in the house in random places (never been a problem since we've had her). I dont know what to do to get her to calm down as she will sit on the couch and whimper and shake. Other times she is fine. My husband is getting frustrated (as am I) and dont know what to do. Any one else had pet issues? How did you help them? Did it go away after the baby came?

I did have pet issues and they did go away, but it took a while. My dog would follow me around and was constantly under foot. She started peeing in the house on a daily basis. What I had to do was yell at her and basically behave like I was crate training her again for her to stop. After my son was born I just tried to give her as much attention as possible. It took a couple of months which I know is a long time, but she came around. Now, I just had my second and it hasn't seemed to phase her at all. Good luck.
