Q: miscarriage questions

So on the 23rd I was 4 weeks 0 days, levels came back at 9, on the 26th 4 weeks 3 days my levels were 18. According to my PCM regardless of whether they've doubled or not they're still too low to sustain a pregnancy. She said with the bleeding I've had (haven't soaked a pad yet but it is red and I've passed clots) and the cramping she's 99% sure I'm miscarrying. I go in on the 10th to make sure my levels are back at 0. Between the 23rd and the 26th my symptoms actually went away, but last night they started coming back again. Had a brief bit of nausea yesterday and today and my boobs are tender again, also I feel bloated. If I'm miscarrying why would I be having these symptoms? I only cramped briefly today and even though my blood is still bright red, it's only spotting but did pass a clot this afternoon as I have every day since Monday. I guess I'm just confused. should I consider myself that 1% and hold out hope till the 10th? Or should I just give up and call it my first miscarriage

Sorry to add, as for your symptoms coming and going that can be completely normal also. people can also still have rising HCG levels with a non viable pregnancy depending.

Hi there;
I am very sorry for you, I am someone giving you advise who had been through 4 losses after seeing Hb's and having had 3 d&c surgeries in 12mths. Hope can be a cruel thing, I have had hope many times in the past so I am going to be completely honest with you. I would hold out zero hope with your situation and start coming to terms with the loss. I know you will be crushed and devastated. Every loss is extremely difficult especially the first. Again I am so sorry you have to experience this trauma. If you need someone to talk to or have any questions please feel free to message me. This is my 6th pregnancy and will be my 2nd living child pending this ones birth in 6 weeks. Take Care sweetie x
