Q: If by starting my period already 10 days shy of 4 months, does this indicate my milk is drying up?

Late yesterday and today, I can see light pinkish red discharge that appears to be the early onset of my first AF post baby.

I breastfeed exclusively with the exception of a daily bottle of breast milk from that I had pumped throughout the day. Baby generally eats between 4.5 - 7 ounces when bottle feeding and on average 20 minutes with nursing.

Nope! I got mine when my son was 6 months old, and was still able to pump until 12 months! :) However, every time I got my period, my supply dropped alittle. Not sure if that will happen with you too, but just know it will go back up once your friend has passed :)

I got my first PP period when baby was 7 months old, and I breastfed without a problem until he was 13 months old. Dont worry about it!

No, this doesn't mean your milk is drying up. Most breastfeeding women get their first postpartum period around 9 months, but everyone is different. Your supply might decrease during your period, but it should go back to normal afterwards. The main thing is that you will now be fertile again.
