Q: 7DPO - STRONG BFP...?

Hi all, I tested yesterday just for fun really, at 7DPO. I got two really strong BFPs on IC, so did a FRER which came up dark BFP before it'd even properly finished soaking up, and then I did a CBD which said "Pregnant 2-3".

I figured I must be further along as no way could I get such strong BFPs that early so went for a scan but it appears I really am only 3 weeks pregnant.

Is this something I need to be worried about? My ovaries were busy (6 large follies and CL on one side, 4 large follies on other)... No ectopic visible and at least one gestation sac visible... But now people are saying it's too early to see anything on screen? So confused!

I'm so sick I just assumed multiples but now I'm worried something is wrong. I have pics of my US from yesterday on my profile - does it look about right for 3 weeks pregnant?

Has anyone else experienced such strong BFPs or anything like this before?

If you are only 3 week then you are truly 1 week pregnant cause the 1st week is your period and the 2nd is ovulation. So now you just have to play the waiting game and that sucks!!!! I seen a yolk sac at 5 weeks and 4days so just wait a couple weeks and try not to stress. Congratulations!!!!!

I had really high levels as well with my last pregnancy and I went to the ER at 6 weeks because I was in a lot of pain and very very very sick. Puking all day/night. They did my bloodwork and my HCG was over 60,000... they said the average for that time is between 10,000-30,000 and they got me all concerned saying it could be a molar pregnancy or maybe twins. But they did a scan and all was well. Just one little healthy bean with a visible heartbeat (and unfortunately an SCH right behind the placenta but it never caused me any problems thankfully)
Keeping my fingers crossed for you that maybe it's just a strong little bean like my daughter was =))

Thanks hun. I was told it was a sac consistent with my cycle (so 7DPO/3 weeks)... The one clear gestational sac measured 3.7mm apparently. The pictures aren't good cos the only way I could share them was by taking a picture of the picture on my phone! LOL I've just ordered the bloods, so those will be done in the next few days. I guess there's really nothing I can do except wait and see in a couple of weeks time. So frustrating though. I've always known what was going on, and this whole pregnancy is foxing me. My first thought with the dark HPTs was Molar or Ectopic I must admit. :( Ectopic has been largely ruled out but we'll know more when we can see more in a couple of weeks time. I hate this waiting around...

I just went onto your CTP page it is a + test. I see your've got 8kids already you are obviously very experienced in pregnancy and have an idea with your situation. Maybe give it 3-4w and go back for another u/s to get confirmation. Best of luck.

Also are looking at your u/s they are not clear. That does not look like a clear gestational sac, could be a small fibroid or anything. Again surly your OB is telling you what's what. The u/s pics are not good quality so it is hard to tell and see clearly.

Nothing can be seen on an ultrasound at 3 weeks from LMP if you truly are 3w. A sac is seen between 4-4 & a half
Weeks followed by the yolk sac at 5-5 & a half weeks and a feotal pole with a HB around 6w.
What can cause extremely high HCG levels is a molar pregnancy. No idea what to tell you really & I've experienced 6 pregnancies. Surly your OB would have told you something based on your blood and u/s results.
