Q: Morning sickness?

I am 5 weeks 4 days and haven't had any morning sickness - a little nausea here and there, especially after eating, but no vomitting or really feeling that ill.
I feel pregnant, my BBs are sore, and I'm short of breath and tired but over all I feel good.
When did you pg ladies get morning sickness, how did it come on (slow, gradual, sudden)?

I was similar to you at that stage hun, and even now at 10weeks 4 days I still haven't been sick.. I feel sick when I don't eat on time in the mornings and if I don't eat regularly.. I barely have any symptoms at all just fatigue and sore bbs.. If anything I felt insecure not having sickness at the time because I felt maybe something was wrong but my baby is there and has a heartbeat. People say your lucky for not having symptoms but sometimes it can be more of a worry.. don't worry though hun every one is different and congratulations on your pregnancy!! Xx good luck

From what I've read pregnancy sickness on average starts around 6 weeks. I was 6.5 weeks when I started getting sick. It was gradual. Got worse each day until I was so sick I was barely moving off the couch. Got better this time around 11.5 weeks. Last pregnancy I had Hyperemesis until. Month 5.

Morning sickness doesn't have to mean vomiting, and many pregnant women do not vomit at all. I had morning sickness even before my bfp this time, around 3 1/2 weeks. I felt nauseated a few times a day during most of my 1st trimester. It usually hit me when my blood sugar dropped. Eating small snacks when you feel a bit of nausea can help a lot. I've actually only thrown up once during this pregnancy (2nd trimester). I think it was a virus or something, though. Hope you continue to feel well. :)

With my son I didn't have any morning sickness, actually the whole pregnancy was a walk in the park compared to my current pregnancy. This pregnancy has been the complete opposite, I've had almost every symptom possible. I was sick for about the first nine weeks.
I wouldn't worry, count yourself lucky and I hope it continues to go well for you.

I was about 5 1/2 weeks when it hit me like a ton of bricks.. Lasted until about 9 weeks and then had it occasionally until almost 12 weeks.

I didn't start feeling queasy until between 6 and 7 weeks and it came on suddenly one morning. I was one of the lucky ones though, I would only get queasy every day around mid morning and that only lasted until about 9 weeks. Right around 9 weeks I started to feel better every day and before I hit 10 weeks I had no nausea/queasiness at all.

I remember feeling worried because I didn't have strong morning sickness. But I have seen the baby a few times and heard the heart beat and everything is healthy and normal. :)
