There's actually a pamphlet in the box that goes over this information. It measures how far past ovulation you are. So if you got a 2-3 weeks, then you are 3-4 weeks pregnant. if you get the 3+, then at the very least you're doctor should confirm you at 5 weeks. If you took that over 3 weeks ago, you're probably around 8-9 weeks now.

Hey, the digital test only measures to 3+ weeks regardless of the hcg reading so if you got that 3 weeks ago then you will be approx 6-7 weeks. Hope all goes well tomorrow , update us and GL xxx

Some women never get the 3+ reading on those and some get it way early on. I don't trust them. If you got your first positive test 3 weeks ago you should be at least 6 weeks

A lot of people think the week estimates are rubbish but me personally in 6 pregnancies I have found them to be accurate. I had 1 pregnancy where I never got the 3+ and it turned out my HCG levels were falling and going down. Your best idea is to probably ignore it and have your HCG bloods run and then again 48hrs later to ensure they're doubling. Best of luck.
People will also tell you that your HCG blood levels have to be at certain numbers before they will reach the 3+ etc. it's not true. This pregnancy I had the 3+ at 18dpo and my levels were still not really high at all. So I do disagree with that side of it :-)
