Q: Am I pregnant?

ok, AF is now 4 days late, and I have been getting feint BFP's for the past 5 days.....18 tests in total (lol). All tests have shown a feint positive. But the lines are still quite feint and don't appear to be getting darker. I have low progesterone levels, so have to take progesterone vaginally for the 1st 3 months of a pregnancy (TMI!)- I just wondered if the progesterone could be affecting the test results, or if it is ok that I haven't had a strong positive yet? We have such a low chance of pregnancy that even with all of these tests results...I am still uncertain

My dr. told me a positive test is a positive test and to not worry about the lines getting darker immediately. As you get further along into the pregnancy, the line should darken. It is still very early so I would try not to worry about it too much. Mine didn't darken until 6 weeks or so and I am now 26 weeks. Good luck

I got my 1st positive the day before AF was due. AF always comes, as clockwork on CD28, I am never late. The lines are staying consistent...not getting lighter and are clearly positives, no matter what time of the day I test.......and all the digital tests come up with "pregnant" straight away. I think I am just going to keep everything crossed for the next week or so. Thank you ladies...and baby dust to you all xx

I take progesterone supplements too. I was able to get a positive the day of my missed period. I don't think that should change it in any way. Sorry.

According to my obgyn, you can still have a chemical pregnancy up until 6 weeks or when you hcg reaches 2000. Hopefully those lines start getting darker for you! Keep us posted!

I am in the Uk, so the DRs do not check your HCG levels :( (cost savings!!) My 1st contact with a health care professional would not be until the 12 week scan :( I had a chemical pregnancy before - but only knew because I tested way too early....I haven't tested early this time, so thought that I would be past the stage where there is still a risk of a chemical pregnancy? So confused :( the lines are feint, but very easy to see - not super feint. Is there any hope?

Have you been getting your hcg levels checked? Faint positives that aren't getting darker could be indication of a chemical pregnancy. I would call your dr and follow-up with them. Best of luck!
