Q: Any tips to ease "morning" sickness?

It's mainly nausea. I haven't really thrown up, but I'm so nauseous that I'm always running to the bathroom -- yet nothing! I'm also having digestion problems as to where my food is slowly digesting or doesn't really feel as if it's digesting at all. Any tips at all?!

Thanks so much ladies! It has gotten better with LEMONS. lol, the oddest thing. I was craving them & just so happened to notice I didn't feel sick anymore. That & plenty of water. I haven't found anything to help with digestion yet though.

Sipping on ginger ale & eating crackers help me. I also keep crackers on my nightstand, & during the middle of the night & before bed I eat half cup of yogurt to help with morning nausea. I'm not sure about digestion, but high fiber foods (apples, high fiber cereals etc) helps move things along for me.

There's always Diclectin. Helps with nausea (usually but didn't for me!). Try eating/drinking straight chicken broth (nothing in it). Peppermint tea is nice to sip on as well. Good luck.

My doctor gave me a prescription for vitamin B-6, which is supposed to help with nausea and I take it once to twice a day and can say I don't experience any nausea. At worst I just get a feeling where nothing looks good to eat and I'm not hungry. I know you can get B-6 over the counter at most stores (Kroger, Walmart, etc). I am not sure about the digestion. I know that pregnancy and the rise in progesterone levels makes everything slower. I have reflux almost every time I eat but it tends to ease on its own but when it's bad, I just take Tums. I also just make sure to drink a lot of water.

I love Preggie drops. They have really helped me. I got mine at the health food store, but I also saw them at our Maternity store.

Ginger is working for me, I have some sweets to suck on when I feel nauseous and sometimes I drink ginger tea.
