Q: Should breasts still be sore at 5 weeks?

Mine have been sore since about 6 dpo and then I woke up this morning and nothing. Last night I had 2 sharp pains in my side ( not round ligament pain) and now I'm worried. No bleeding and I'm still having mild cramping that I've had since 7 dpo. Am I just freaking over nothing?

All symptoms fluctuated.. I don't think I've ever had a day that's exactly the same.. I find when my period would have been due my symptoms go into over drive and other times I don't feel pregnant at all.. hope your feeling better hun

Just want to add that I barely had any symptoms during my first trimester. My boobs only slightly hurt every so often until about 5-6 weeks and then the pain went away completely. I understand your worry, I worried about the same thing! But baby was healthy and I will be 20 weeks in a few days. :D

Aww bless you hun.. I can only imagine how worried you must feel but honestly it's very normal.. my breast had been so painful since 3weeks and 5 days and I'm now 19 weeks and they are still a pain.. I'm quite big chested and they are driving me nuts.. not only is pain normal but you may find they get really irritated and itchy.. its normal hun, we all worry especially the ladies who have rainbow babies. Try not to worry to much though.. not good for your little bean x

I hardly had any symptoms with either pregnancy in the 1st trimester. I also had spotting until 13 weeks with my son, so I was a nervous wreck. I lost twins at 18 weeks before my son, so I was completely nervous for the whole pregnancy. It is definitely more common to be so worried if you have experienced a loss.

I also forgot to mention I have a huge pimple this morning. I usually get one before AF. This cycle I didn't because I was pg. I know I'm feeling silly about being so worried. you'd think I have never been pregnant before. Lol . I have a 20 yo son and a 16 yo daughter and 3 years ago a carried my angel boy to 26 weeks. I will probably worry till I'm 30 weeks

Yep lol freaking out over nothing. With my last pregnancy my boobs were sore from a week before I was expecting AF right up until I delivered my baby lol. With my current pregnancy I haven't really had sore boobs at all and I'm 11 weeks. I also have lots of side pains. Just aches and pains all over honestly. Your body is producing a hormone that relaxes all your joints so it can throw everything out of whack at times. Cramping is also very normal and as long as it's not severe and there's no spotting/bleeding accompanying it, I wouldn't give it another thought =) Just mention it at your doctor appointment so they will make a note of it, in case it comes back later on or gets worse then they will have a record and be able to monitor you better.
