Q: Just for kicks... boy or girl?

Had an ultrasound today at 12w5d and I know it's early but I swear I thought I saw boy bits. I don't think you can see anything in my ultrasound pic that the tech printed off for me, but does anyone wanna look and just take a guess just for shits and giggles? =) Any theories based on head shape? I know there's no truth to it but thought it'd be fun =)

Apparently one of them wasn't a duplicate. I got a close up of a profile shot of the face =) Looks like a boy face to me but this might be my wishful thinking talking again lol!

I wish I was in the room when she was printing them off I would have asked for the one where you could clearly see it lol. I was like hmmmm that looks suspicious haha! I saw what looks like testicles during the scan but it could just be swollen labia.

if i had to guess, id say boy :P looks like you got a boy nub going on. ive been able to tell a couple friends what they were having early based on the nubs :) i got my own gender prediction wrong though, strangely enough lol. i thought i saw a boy nub at my 12w scan and we got a very clear picture of her lady bit at 22w :)

Yeah I've seen a few u/s pics in the gallery on this site where the baby was obviously a boy at 12-13w! So cool! You're right, if they can get just the right angle on it and the tech's been doing it for a long time they can usually make a pretty well-educated guess. Hopefully we'll find out at my next scan as long as baby cooperates =)

I have been given gender confirmation at 12 week scan with both my and 100% correct. Based on a clear view of the nub by experienced tech and amazing high tech equimpment. Although the nub theory is only around 60-70% accurate. It was correct and clear for me both times. Good luck, hope you get a boy so you can have one of each.

I couldn't see the nub because of the angle but at one point we were looking at the bottom and it looked like testicles? It could just have been swollen labia though so I'm trying not to get my hopes up for a boy lol. That sounds horrible the way I said it lol, I'll be super happy if we're having another girl just been thinking it'd be cool to have a boy.

Around here they look for gender as early as 13 weeks! So if you think boy, I'm voting boy!
