Q: Having contractions last night

I'm 31 weeks and I was in the hospital last night having contractions every 2 minutes that were lasting 70-80 seconds long. I'm 1 cm dilated and 30% effaced the 2 weeks test came back negative however I'm showing traces of ketones in my urine for whatever reason. After 3 miserable hours my cervix hadn't shown a change but my contractions were showing no sign of slowing down so they gave me the terbutaline shot and an ambian to help me sleep and sent me home. Well today I feel as if I got hit by a train my body is so sore and I'm having sharp cramping above my pubic area. Should I be concerned?

I would go back to the hospital with any concerns or call them. You don't want to have your baby at 31 weeks if they can stop it or help you keep him or her in there longer. Best of luck. Hope things slow down for you and you can enjoy the last 8-10 weeks of your pregnancy :-)
