Q: Strong pains

I am currently 17 weeks pregnant. About 3 am this morning I was awaken with horrible lower abdominal pains. I have had a slight discharge but it has been clear. But when I went to the potty about noon there was a slight pink tint to the discharge. I have miscarriage d twice before but it does not feel like I am. Could this pain be normal? I have not done anything but sit and relax for the past 3 days.what should I do my next doctor visit is on july 16?

According to hospital its my kidneys. I called my doc the next day and explained everything she also had the hospital reports. She said a few woman actually have problems with the kidneys during pregnacy. I was put on bed rest for 4 days. My next appointment is on 7-16. My doctor told me that cramping or pain AND spotting/bleeding needs to be checked out by his office. Good luck!

Just call the doctor and see whether or not they'd like you to come in to get checked out. I've had bright red spotting and cramping along with it 4 different times now and I am also 17w. So far baby and I are both fine =) So it could just be decidual bleeding.

Definitely get checked by your doctor. Any spotting is questionable especially with cramping.

I'm betting everything is good (weird twinges happen all the time), but if I were you I'd go get checked by a doctor. It doesn't hurt to be safe and check right? Good luck!
