Q: Which Breast Pump would you go with?

Hey Ladies,

So I found out my insurance will cover two breast pumps 100%. Having never used a breast pump I am wondering if I can get any advice on which to get. I work from home full time so I will be breast feeding directly more than I will be pumping.

The two models are...

and

Thanks in advance for any help! :)

Medela, all the way. I have had mine since 2006 when mine 8 year old so was born. After 3 kids and two friends using it, It is just barely starting to have an issue with skipping when pumping. Will be getting a new one which it basically the same, just a little different in style and look since 2006. Getting mine through insurance as well. Love that it is required by most insurances now.

I have the Medela Pump in Style and I've used it for all 3 of my children. I have never had a problem with the parts or the bag itself. It's actually pretty convenient and very discreet. I buy new shields every time I have a new baby but that's my own preference. Usually because I loose them! I am going on baby #4 and will use it with them as well. My first was born in 2009 so I've had it since then. I love the let down button that it has. It usually goes off after about 10-15 minutes of stimulation. I got this for free with my insurance as well!
