Q: Peach colored discharge and cramping!?

Okay, I am all but freaking out. Normally, I have a thick yellowish or white discharge and this afternoon, after I spent the day cleaning, I went pee and wiped to find peach colored discharge. I also had some cramping a little while after, which I actually haven't been having lately. This comes after feeling the very first fetal movement I've felt this pregnancy today (yes, at 7.5 weeks) and I am utterly nervous after suffering a mc just a few months ago. Should I be worried and concerned?? Should I call my midwife? I've never had this before :(

I'm so glad to hear the good news! I've had a hard time getting the site to load, but was hoping to have an update. I'm in your same boat with the water aversion. Honestly, any kind of liquid is going to be beneficial. I had a bad water aversion with my first two. This one comes and goes and depends largely on how empty my stomach is. I've been getting juice, Gatorade, and even chicken broth to help me stay hydrated. They're not the greatest choices in all situations, but they definitely are better options than dehydration.

Thanks, Paper! I did take it easy for the rest of the day - and tbh, I think I may have been dehydrated yesterday. I am trying to drink more water today, though its hard to drink so much of it because it makes me gag with this morning sickness I've got going on. I'm fighting through it though! Thanks for the advice - and I'm sorry it happened to you, too. It's terrifying! Today, the spotting/discharge/whatever it was is gone thank God!

I spent the day cleaning at around 5 weeks and had pretty uncomfortable cramping all night. I'd relax for awhile with your feet up and make sure you take in plenty of fluids as dehydration can cause spotting.

Thank you, Mal. I did call my midwife and the nurse called me back and suggested I go be seen/ evaluated in the ER. Honestly, if there was anything going on, it would be out of the doctors hands anyways at this early stage - so I'd rather be at home. I can say the peach discharge did stop, but I'm still cramping. It was a brief little bit that the discharge was there, but I am just really uneasy - and just a couple days ago, I got an 'all is well' at the doctors with an ultrasound and healthy, strong heartbeat. I am probably okay, I'm sure - but previous miscarriages have scarred me and and made me afraid of everything. :( Thanks for your response.

To put you mind at ease you can call your midwife but I think bleeding/spotting in pregnancy is much more common than we think. I had bleeding and even clots at one point and baby is fine so far. I don't think peach should be much of a concern. If it turns to red and you are cramping then I would be concerned.
