When I think of dated names, I think mostly of "fad" names (ie, they had a spike in popularity and then dropped off the radar like Jessica, Tiffany, Lindsey, etc). Elizabeth is old, yes, but I'd call it classic and not dated as you likely can't guess Elizabeth's age based solely on hearing her name. I agree that Elijah is popular right now, but it wasn't when I chose it for my son 11 years ago. I still love his name and he gets a lot of compliments on it. Again, it dates back to the days of the Bible, so it's not, to me, the same as a name like Chad or Corey. My biggest flaw with it in your combo is disliking the repetitive J sound when it's paired with James.

I feel like Elijah is very common now and Elizabeth is a little out dated, the jean part makes it sound very country but that might be what you going for. Sorry to shoot them both down, just my opinions. :)
