Q: Is this type of delayed growth even possible?!

Hello ladies :) I am new here and wondering if there is anyone who shares my experience. I tested positive on an hpt on Aug 18th. Had my first 7 week appt on 9/1 showing a yolk sac and a very very small baby and the doctor said I was barely measuring 6 weeks. So I had another ultrasound on 9/14 and the doctor said my gestational sac measured 8 weeks but the baby still only measured around 6 weeks. I am confused because the baby WAS bigger the second time, as was the ges sac, and we saw a heartbeat! So how can there be growth WITH a heartbeat, measuring at around 6ish weeks, when I tested positive on August 18th?? Any success stories? ???? Thank you for your input

I'd go for a second opinion. Try to stay positive and try not to worry too much. Call in the morning to some other clinics and let them know your worry and see if they can get you in.
