Contractions for me felt just like Braxton Hicks only with painful cramping and lower back pain. I remember when labor started with my first baby I kept thinking, "Man! I keep having these gas pains with my Braxton Hicks!" Lol! I didn't realize it was labor! :p

True labor contractions for me came in waves. Hard to explain, but basically my uterus would start contracting and there would be about 4 waves, and it got tighter and more painful each wave til the 4th wave hit then it would slowly relax for a few minutes til they started again

If you want help going into labor try yoga ball, bumpy car ride, sex, pedicure (heard it works sometimes), walking/hiking. It'll happen though. Good luck :)

To be honest during my second delivery I was scheduled for induction went in when I was suppose to but was told I was already in labor. Funny thing was is that I didn't notice anything different I wasn't feeling the contractions when I went in but was dilating and thinning out so labor could really start at any time.
