Q: TMI.. Bowel Movements?

My fiance and I both got sick a couple nights ago. We both only threw up one time. We both have felt fine since then.

I however, have been having BM's 2-3 times a day which is weird since I normally only go every other day at best lol.

So I'm wondering if this is just some kind of stomach bug or if my issue is pregnancy related?
I have strong cramping like you would get with diarrhea but my BMs are normal, just frequent. I've also had a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions lately but I figured it's normal at this point in my pregnancy (almost 31w)... I feel totally fine other than having lots of BMs so I'm confused lol.

Day 4 and still going =( I'm thinking maybe it IS just hormonal lol. I really feel strange though. Wish I knew how to describe it. With my nesting kicking into overdrive and stuff and my boobs/nipples have been going through random periods of soreness the past few days it's just making me so nervous that baby is gonna come wayyyy early =( I hope she hangs in there.

Hum...could be hormonal? Usually digestion is supposed to slow down with the hormones but maybe in your case it's speeding up?

Nothing new in my diet =( this is driving me crazy.

Day 3 so far no signs of slowing down yet.

Have you eaten anything different? I have noticed that I am a bit more sensitive to certain foods, which has caused me potty issues. I had this issue a couple weeks ago and realized it was because I was eating something new. ALthough I also must say that I haven't really had a consistent pattern in bowel movements from the 2nd trimester on. It's like I never know what to expect!

It could just be your body trying to rid itself of whatever made you sick. I always have frequent BM's after being ill. However, it is always something worth mentioning to your doctor or midwife, especially with the cramping.
